Ravenous Brains

If he only had a brain .. indeed, for the Scarecrow is no stranger to the taste of flesh, and when the hunger claims his whithered bones of wood and straw, he is transformed into a being so ravenous that all who live in the land of Oz shudder to the sound of his Undead howls. And the wizard? Well - he has the biggest brain of them all. Undoubtedly the most delicious, too.

Great work Sarah. The linework is beautiful. I like the indication of the wind in the clothes. Pretty creepy. I think this is screaming for a watercolor treatment. Nicely done.

Also you could claim the label "Zombies" if you so chose.

Is Scarecrow stuffing his underwear with straw? I think maybe he's trying to show off a little bit there.

I really like the way you drew the hands, and the birds are a great touch. Nice work!

wow! super creepy and scary. (really. i wouldn't sleep with this on my wall. i couldn't. i'd be afraid he'd come get me--that's a compliment.)

NICELY executed. i like those birds too!

bravo on the backstory. everybody's gunning for that wizard.

...it's interesting how dark this topic has turned out.

Thank you Goat, Kennon!

Dylan -- Hahaha! That ended up being a mistake. Originally I wasn't going to space his legs so far apart there.. but while I was inking I decided to do it at the last minute, so he ended up having.. yeah. We'll say stuffed. Yeah. Otherwise.. creepy. ..Yeeaah.

Janx -- Wow, thank you! :) And you are very right.. I think we're all a little.. twisted and morbid. Snerrk. I LOVE IT!

Ha! AWESOME. I'm imagining him singing to all his victims before he devours them. I love the wispy nature of this.
