I love how the shape of the 'eye' is within the tree - it's sort of vaguely suggested. I love the colors of the tree, too. Sweeeet.

Re: materials, this was done on colored Artagain paper, which has a fiber grain to it. Regular inking to start (with my beloved Faber-Castells), color fills with Prismacolor marker. Then I put on highlighting with an acrylic paint pen. To soften the highlights I took an old, ratty marker and colored over all the white bits. Since the acrylic ink was still somewhat wet, it smudged and blended and took on some of the marker color.

Size is very small: 2.5" x 3.5" (that way I can do a color piece but not spend hours and hours on it).
